OPENING PRAYER

God of power and mercy, in love your sent your Son that we might be cleansed of sin and live with you forever. Bless us as we gather to reflect on his suffering and death that we may learn from his example the way we should go.  We ask this through that same Christ, our Lord. Amen.

FIRST STATION – Jesus is Condemned to Death

V. We adore you, O Christ, and we bless You.

R. Because by Your holy cross You have redeemed the world

Stand

DEAR JESUS, there You stand a prisoner and wicked men have said that You must die. But You have done nothing wrong. You have spent You whole life in doing good to others. I must always remember that it was for me You died so that I could go to Heaven and be happy with You.

Teach me, dear Jesus when I am blamed for something even if unjustly to be silent as You were because I love You and want to be like You.

SEGUNDA ESTACION – Jesús Carga Su Cruz

V. Te adoramos, Oh Cristo y te bendecimos.

R. Porque por tu Santa cruz redimiste al mundo

SEÑOR JESUS, la cruz que LLEVAS sobre tus hombros es muy pesada Tu estás herido y sangrando ?como vas a poder llevar Tu cruz al cerro tan empinado?

Enseñame a recordar que cuando peco, te duele aún más que la pesada cruz.

THIRD STATION – Jesus Falls the First Time

V. We adore you, O Christ, and we bless You.

R. Because by Your holy cross You have redeemed the world

DEAR JESUS, You are so weak and tired that You can hardly walk but the soldiers roughly order You to start Your journey. After a few steps You stumble and fall but there is no one to help You or speak to You kindly.

How I wish I could have been there to tell You that I love You and was so sorry for You.

CUARTA ESTACION – Jesús Encuentra a Su Madre

R. Porque por tu Santa cruz redimiste al mundo.

SEÑOR JESUS, ?quien esta esperandote cerca del lugar donde vas a pasar? Es tu propia Madre Bendita que te ama mucho, pero como le duele verte cruelmente maltratado. Ella quisiera que hicieran eso a ella en lugar de a tí.Los soldados no van a dejarla decir una palabra, ella solo podrá hablarte con los ojos cuando pases.

Querido Jesús, enseñame a amar mucho a Tu Bendita Madre.

FIFTH STATION – Simon of Cyrene Helps Jesus to Carry the Cross

DEAR JESUS, You are so weak that You cannot carry the cross alone any more. The soldiers make a man named Simon help You with it. I wish I had been Simon so that I could have helped You.

But teach me to remember that I am helping You even more now when I show kindness to others for Your sake.

SEXTA ESTACION – Veronica Limpia el Rostro de Jesús

R. Porque por tu Santa Cruz redimiste al mundo.

SEÑOR JESUS, tu cara estaba toda llena de polvo y de sangre y la gente perversa te ha estado escupiendo. La sangre corría de tu corona de espinas de tu cabeza a tus ojos cuando Santa Veronica abrió camino entre la multitud y limpió tu cara con su manto estampaste la foto de tu cara en su manto para agradecerle su atrevimiento.

Enseñame a recordar que no debo nunca tener miedo de decir que yo te pertenezco que soy tu hijo.

SEVENTH STATION – Jesus Falls the Second Time

V. We adore you, O Christ, and we bless You.

R. Because by Your holy cross You have redeemed the world

DEAR JESUS, this time You fall more heavily than before and it is harder to get up. The soldiers push and strike You to make You hurry along when You can hardly walk. It frightens me to think how cruelly You are treated You Who are my Lord and my God.

Teach me to understand what a dreadful thing sin is because to pay for it You suffered so much.

OCTAVA ESTACION – Jesús Habla con las Mujeres de Jerusalem

V. Te adoramos Oh Cristo y te bendecimos.

R. Porque por tu Santa Cruz redimiste al mundo

SEÑOR JESUS, hay algunas mujeres en el camino esperando a que pases.  lloran por tí, se sienten mal de verte así. Habla amablemente con ellas diles

que no lloren por Tí, pero si por sus hijos y por ellas mismas, porque mucha gente va a sufrir terriblemente al ser castigados por no haber creído en Tí.

Enseñame a sentir pena por mis pecados no por el miedo al castigo pero sí porque te causan dolor.

NINTH STATION – Jesus Falls the Third Time

V. We adore you, O Christ, and we bless You.

R. Because by Your holy cross You have redeemed the world

DEAR JESUS, for the last time You stumble and fall to the ground. Shall You ever be able to get up again? The cross crushes You with its weight and the people around wonder if You are not dead already. But no once more Yu climb to Your feet and struggle forward up the hill.

Teach me never to be discouraged even if I keep falling into the same sins but help me to begin again, at once to obey You and to do Your will.

DECIMA ESTACION – Jesús es Despojado de su Vestidura

V. Te adoramos Oh Cristo y te bendecimos.

R. Porque port u Santa cruz redimiste al mundo.

SEÑOR JESUS, has llegado a la cima del cerro el lugar donde vas a morir. Hay una multitud a tu alrededor, se estan riendo de Tí y los malvados te estan molestando. Tu querida Madre y Tus  amigos no pueden acercarse a Tí. Los verdugos te estan maltratando para quitarte Tu vestidura y Tu sangre está corriendo. Es como si cada una de tus crueles heridas estuvieran habriendose por segunda vez. Toda la gente te mira.

Enseñame a  estar dispuesto a olvidarme algunas  veces de los pequeños placeres y vivir solo con lo necesario porque Tu sufriste mucho por mí.

ELEVENTH STATION – Jesus is Nailed to the Cross

V. We adore you, O Christ, and we bless You.

R. Because by Your holy cross You have redeemed the world

DEAR JESUS, now they are putting nails through Your hands and feet to fasten You to the cross. It hurts me only to prick my finger with a pin. How much more those nails must hurt You! When the executioner tells You stretch out Your hand or Your foot You obey him without saying a word. And I when I am told to do something little, easy thing how often I disobey.

Teach me to be always perfectly obedient because You were so obedient when being nailed to the cross.

DOCEAVA ESTACION – Jesús Muere en la Cruz

V. Te adoramos Oh Cristo y te bendecimos.

R. Porque por tu Santa cruz redimiste al mundo.

De pie

SEÑOR JESUS, estás muriendo colgado en la cruz. Tú estás muriendo por mí para que yo vaya al cielo y para que yo pueda ser tu hijo. No estás enojado con los hombres  perversos que te mataron. Los has perdonado y le pediste a Tu Padre que los perdonara tambien. Toda la gente se retira, pienso que algunos sufren por Tí. Tu Santa Madre y Tus amigos estan cerca de Tu cruz. Desearía haber estado con ellos, me hubiera quedado hasta el final para demostrarte cuanto te amo.

Enseñame siempre a perdonar a quien no es amable conmigo porque Tú perdonaste a tus asesinos aún al morir colgado en la cruz.

THIRTEENTH STATION – Jesus is Taken Down from the Cross

DEAR JESUS, it is very quiet now around the cross. Everybody has gone away but a few soldiers and Your Mother and Your friends. Two of Your friends bring a ladder and oh, so slowly and carefully they take You down and lay You in the arms of Your Blessed Mother. Her heart is breaking as she looks at the crown of thorns and the nails and all Your dreadful wounds.

Teach me to comfort Your dear Mother now by never hurting You with my sins.

Let me mingle tears with thee, Mourning Him Who mourned for me, All the days that I may live.

CATORCEAVA ESTACION – Jesús es Sepultado

De rodillas

V. Te adoramos Oh Cristo y te bendecimos

R. Porque por Tu cruz redimiste al mundo.

De pie

SEÑOR JESUS, estas listo para ser sepultado Tus heridas han sido lavadas y estas envuelto en mantos  blancos.Te van a sepultar esta noche  en un  jardin cercano que pertenece a uno de  Tus amigos, hay una  tumba preparada para Tí

en las  rocas  ahora te llevan hacia allá. Tu Santa Madre te mira por última vez.

?Como puede resistir el dolor de dejarte ahí?

Pero en tres días, Señor Jesús, vas a resucitar de la muerte glorioso y radiante para Ir de regreso al Cielo para nunca más sufrir.

Enseñame entre los gosos de la tierra a siempre Recordar los gosos del Cielo. Ayúdame a Amarte tanto para que cuando muera esté Felíz contigo para siempre.

CLOSING PRAYER

Lord Jesus Christ, your passion and death is the sacrifice that unites earth and heaven and reconciles all people to you. May we who have faithfully reflected on these mysteries follow in your steps and so come to share your glory in heaven where you live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

PRAYERS / ORACIONES

Our Father Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Padre Nuestro que estas en el cielo santificado sea tu nombre venga a nosotros tu reino hagase tu  voluntad así en la tierra como en el cielo. Danos hoy nuestro pan de cada día perdona nuestras ofensas como tambien nosotros perdonamos a los que nos ofenden no nos dejes caer en tentacion y libranos del mal. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Dios te salve María llena eres de gracia el Señor es contigo bendita eres entretodas las mujeres y bendito es el fruto de tu vientre Jesús.

Santa María Madre de Dios ruega por nosotros los pecadores ahora y en la hora de nuestra muerte. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be. Amen.

Gloria al Padre, al Hijo y al Espíritu Santo como era en un principio ahora y siempre por los siglos de los siglos. Amen.
