The next Food & Fun event is scheduled for Saturday evening, June 5 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Reid Hall. Dinner will include chicken breast with two sides, dessert and beverage for $5.00. Mark your calendars!

— High School and Adult Sacrament Preparation —

Registrations are currently being accepted in the parish office for classes to begin in September. The cost is $50 per person. More information is available by calling the office.

— Adoration Chapel —

Please stop by the parish office for the key to the new Adoration Chapel located next to Reid Hall. Eventually a 24-hour schedule will be readied for full time Adorers.

— New Confessional —

Two lights have been installed; a green light indicates the availability of a priest, a red light indicates that the confessional is occupied. Both lights off indicate there is no priest available.

— Please Note —

There will be no English Baptisms in June due to Father’s pilgrimage to Rome.

— Special Need —

The parish office is in need of someone with maintenance of office machines experience. We have a Minolta Di35if, a Minolta 5000 and a Riso RN2030ui in need of repair.

—  First Fridays —

A Traditional Latin Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 4 at 9:00 a.m.

— Digital Age Prayer Line —

Parishioner Pauline Breeden has begun an Email Prayer Request Line.

It is quite simple to participate; simply email your request to her at

peebs21108@q.com with the words “scbprayers” in the subject line. Your requests will be forwarded to others in the database

Your email address will then be placed in the database to receive prayer requests sent to Pauline by others. Thanks for your interest!

Mandatory Meeting

All liturgical ministers — Altar Servers, Choir, Communion Ministers, Deacons, Lectors, Ministers to the Sick and Homebound, Ushers (daily and weekend) — and those who would like to become ministers, MUST attend a three-hour meeting on Saturday, May 22 at 9:00 a.m. The first half will be a presentation of Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger’s The Spirit of the Liturgy. The second-half will deal with specifics of each ministry. Please RSVP to Patricia at 623 979-3418. Remember: Attendance is mandatory. No attendance means no authority to serve until attendance at the class when offered again next spring.

Se deben seguir estos pasos para bautizos en Español:

1. Llenar la solicitud en la oficina y pagar $50.

2. Asistir a la orientación.

3. Asistir a la clase.

Se deben seguir estos pasos antes de que se realice el bautizo. Si no siguen estos pasos, tendrá que esperar para bautizar hasta el siguiente mes.

Para los padres que tenemos necesidad de transmitir nuestra Fe en nuestro idioma para dar Honor y Gloria a Dios.

Nuevo programa de Catequesis para niños que NO han tenido NINGUNA enseñanza, que estén en Primero, Segundo y Tercer grado escolar.  Que sea su Primer año de educación religiosa. Próximas inscripciones: En la oficina durante el mes de mayo.

Requisitos:  $50 cada niño, Llenar su Registro  y  (copia) de Fe de Bautizo

El Encuentro Matrimonial Mundial en su sección Hispana, es un movimiento Católico que tiene como objetivo ayudar a las parejas a que mejoren su relación y comunicación por medio de un Fin de Semana que consiste en una serie de presentaciones por un equipo de parejas y un Sacerdote, donde las parejas aprenden a profundizar en su relación. ¿No creen que éste podría ser el mejor regalo que se pueden dar como pareja?
